I just want to start today by saying that my husband is amazing and such a fighter, we all love him so much and are so proud of him. I also want everyone to know that he is reading all the comments here and is so touched by all that has been said. Today he heard from the oncologist that his numbers are still coming up. He is retaining a lot of fluid and they are trying to work with his body to get as much off as they can. He got up today and walked to the window and sat in the chair again. They removed the nutrition from his IV yesterday since he is now cleared to eat anyything he wants. Since doing that though his blood sugar levels have been dropping. This morning they were at 48 when they checked him and he had to drink a huge glass of orange juice to bring them up. The docs say this is normal after you come off of that stuff because it has so much sugar in it. When he started eating again his body had a hard time figuring out how much insulin to put out. He has had another good breakfast and is still sitting up in the chair. I hope to get another post in later today, thank you all so much for your constant prayers.

Josh I'm so glad things are looking up for you. I know this has to be the hardest thing you ever had to go thru. Stay strong, keep eating, and be kind to your physical therapist ;) Keep fighting and praying. Love you Cuz !

Wow! The GREAT PHYSICIAN's healing powers are amazing. I know you are in good hands! We are amazed how much stamina you have gained, and I know it is your fighting spirit helping you along. We continue to pray for your recovery and today specifically, for less fluid in your system!

We are so happy to hear that you are doing so much better Josh! Keep your fighting spirit and faith in our Lord and you will be healed. We will pray for the fluid to leave your body and your blood sugars to stabilize.
Kalyn--thank you for keeping us all informed! It would be hard for us to come right now, but please be assured, we love you all so much and know that God will take care of each one of you, baby included!! We need you all well 'cause we are having a wedding in the family and we want you there!!
